According to an article in "The Guardian Newspaper" 2007, after a survey of the UK's top 100 family lawyers, the journalists found that in approximately 50% of divorce cases, their clients had utilised the services of private investigators.

By our own estimation, this figure is probably accurate. Unfortunately, in many divorce cases, there are those who would seek to mislead the courts about their circumstances and key facts that they know would affect the outcome of the hearings. This can be related to lifestyle, hidden and undisclosed assets, or even employment and income.

In most cases, non disclosure in divorce cases takes place so that one party can obtain an unfair advantage financially. Proactive and intelligent divorce investigations can resolve this.

For example, some do not declare true earnings, assets or overall true net-worth to the Courts. In others, some will mislead the Courts about co-habitation status, infidelity, or in some instances, we are called to conduct surveillance operations to record unreasonable behaviour that is being denied.
